Dr. Long has a BA in Christian Education, MA in Christian Education, MA in Counseling, and a Psy.D. He has been happily married for over 40 years with adult sons. Dr. Long has been a Private Practice Therapist since 1996, and co-founded Family Focus Christian Counseling. He now has a successful private practice and is the Clinical Supervisor for East County Transitional Living. He has supervised interns and trainees over the years, and partnered with churches within the greater San Diego to help pastors with family counseling. He developed a therapy technique based on Matthew and uses this in his breakout session on “Fighting Fair in Relationships.” Attendees will learn proven strategies from Scripture on conflict resolution for couples. Attendees will enjoy his fun and entertaining style and be able to use the new skill right away.
